1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). When you connect social media accounts, we store OAuth tokens necessary to publish posts on your behalf. We also collect usage data such as posts created, platforms used, and feature interactions to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the MMLite service, publish and schedule posts to your connected social media accounts, send you essential account notifications, improve our product based on aggregated usage patterns, and process payments for purchased post packs. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Social Media Connections
When you connect a social media account, we receive an authorization token via OAuth. We use these tokens solely to publish content you create in MMLite. We never post without your explicit action, read your private messages, or access data beyond what is needed for publishing. You can disconnect any account at any time from your Connected Accounts page.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We perform regular security reviews and follow industry best practices for data protection.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Post history is kept indefinitely so you can reference past content. If you delete your account, all personal data, connected account tokens, and post history are permanently deleted within 30 days.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use Vercel Analytics for basic, privacy-friendly page view tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or share data with ad networks.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access all personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, export your post history, and withdraw consent for data processing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@litepost.io.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of MMLite after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
